Tortolita Fireplace

The Winslow

The Winslow fireplace is a wonderfully compact design that has a firebox flanked by two recessed wood storage voids. The seating surface is 16" deep in front of the firebox and 24" deep in front of the side voids. This fireplace offers arched openings for that extra cool look. The overall measurement of the structure is only 96" wide, 48" deep and 72" tall. This can fit into almost any backyard. The firebox measures 32" wide, 24" wide and 28" tall before the installation of firebrick. The storage voids are 16" deep and 16" wide.

The Winslow fireplace plan has a total of 46 pages.

I had seen outdoor kitchens and fireplaces in magazines and on TV and thought I would inquire with a contractor about having them built. I provided the contractors with example pictures of barbeques and fireplaces I liked and received quotes as high as $7,800 to build just the fireplace. more...
